  • Which specialism to choose?

Students choose their future specialism according to their interest, capabilities and ideas of their future career.

As foreign students compete at entrance exams with their Czech peers, there are specialisms where it is harder for them to succeed.

The following table shows probability of success of ILPS CU Preparatory Courses alumni during entrance exams to public universities (studying in Czech is for free). The table uses a sample of app. 2,000 foreign students.

    Specialism

    Probability of success

    Technical 97%
    Medicine and Science 83%
    Economics 76%
    Humanities 64%

The probability of success at entrance exams to private universities is almost 100%.
